Additional Information
- Is this tour suitable for wheelchair users?
Yes, it is. We can arrange a private tour including a special wheelchair accessible itinerary, contact us!
- What happens if I’m running late for the tour ?
We recommend maximum punctuality for this tour as your entry tickets have a specific entrance time with a tolerance of only 10 minutes. Arriving late means extending the waiting time or even risking not being able to access the site.
- Will we also visit the undergrounds and the third ring of the Colosseum?
No, those areas are not included in the itinerary. You can contact us if you wish to further customize your guided tour by adding the underground and the third ring.
- What can I bring with me inside the Colosseum?
At the entrance, visitors are checked with a metal detector: if you have objects with you that are forbidden inside the Colosseum, you will be forced to store them in the luggage storage. It is forbidden to bring inside food, drinks and suitcases. Medium and small backpacks are allowed.
- Can I bring my dog with me during the tour?
The Colosseum does not allow dogs of any size inside, unless they are assistance and service animals for the disabled and blind people.
- What happens if it’s bad weather and it rains on the day of the tour?
The Colosseum tour will take place regularly even in case of rain, so we recommend bringing an umbrella or a raincoat with you if it rains. The tour is canceled only if the authorities decide to close the site due to emergency weather conditions.
- How can I reach the Colosseum by public transport?
The nearest metro stop called Colosseo is on the line B.
- Do you accept the RomaPass for Colosseum tickets?
No. As this tour includes all tickets, no tickets or passes other than those we provide to you directly can be used.
